This is a magnificent emerald green lava glass bead 5 strand necklace with matching clip earrings. A sumptuous vintage demi parure from the 1950s! The necklace features a large oval gold tone box clasp encrusted with green rhinestones.
Each glowing lava glass bead has a filigree lace metal end cap and a tiny glass spacer bead. The earrings repeat the design in a circle with antiqued gold tone metal spring tension findings. The set is not signed. It's heavy, well made, and the wealth of glass beads beautifully capture the light.
In excellent condition, some wear to the metal of the earring backs. The clips and necklace clasp work fine.
The earrings are 7/8 inches in diameter, the necklace is 14 inches long on the shortest strand, 20 inches long on the longest strand, the rhinestone clasp is 1 by 1.25 inches in size.
