Vintage Van S Authentics Gold Tone, Emerald Green Glass Stone Bar Pin Brooch & Earrings, offered by Kathy's Vintage Jewels 2.
I am pleased to offer this wonderful bar brooch and earrings signed Van S. Authentics, which began business in the 1930’s and was sold in approximately 1969. The 3 ½” bar brooch features a huge emerald green faceted glass stone in the center which is ¾” in diameter, with black glass or very dark green) stones on the ends that are ¼” square, on a gold tone textured setting. The back is signed Van S. Authentics, with a number of 2866. There is very minor gold tone loss on the edges of the bar, due to age.
The 1 ¼” clip on earrings have the same texture in the gold tone finish, and a matching green glass stone (which is 3/8”). Each earring is also marked Van S. Authentics.
Van S. Authentics was founded by Joanne and Reginald Moonan. The date the company was started may date to the 1930's. It was later sold by the couple in 1969.
