Each earring contains a natural emerald from Colombian which is know for producing some of the finest emeralds around. These emeralds display an excellent clarity and bright green colour. Emeralds always contain inclusions and most are so heavily included that they are opaque. That is certainly not the case here as you can see in the photos these are nice lively emeralds. The settings are made of solid sterling silver. I had the earrings appraised by an independant GIA graduate gemologist on February 5th, 2014. The earrings are described in the appraisal as follows:
