These tiny emerald green earrings are actually genuine peridot, a stone confused with emeralds for centuries by European royalty. These beautiful peridot stones have faceted surfaces, causing them to glitter brightly. Peridot is the only naturally green gem that doesn't change colors in the light. It retains its rich green color both indoors and outdoors. These short green peridot stud earrings hang just 3/4 inch [2 cms.] long and have gold plated earring studs.
